One of the biggest startup competitions is ending.
Here’s what you should know and whether you should apply.

43North recently announced that its accelerator program will conclude after 2027 — which means this fall's competition is the final one.

This year five startups will receive $1 million each in exchange for 5% equity, plus a year of programming, mentorship, investor access, office space, and more.

If selected, you and at least 50% of your team will need to relocate to Buffalo, NY for at least 12 months. You'll also need to show real traction, a strong team, and a clear plan to turn the $1M investment into growth.

So before you apply, ask yourself:
👉🏾 Do I have a product in market with real traction?
👉🏾 Can I clearly explain why my startup is ready to scale now?
👉🏾 Am I willing to relocate to Buffalo for a year?

If the answer is yes, this may be one of the most important applications you submit this year.

And if the answer is no, that's okay too. Not every opportunity is the right opportunity.
